FIRST YEAR ARCHITECTURE (2017)
LIBRARY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY
BRISBANE, QLD
PROJECT BRIEF
The site for this project- A library for the 21st century, is a portion of an established park in Brisbane – Roma Street Parklands. The site is particular – being the north-eastern corner at the top of the parklands on the Wickham Terrace corner. Consider the broader context of Spring Hill, the opportunity to engage with other buildings at the corner, the existing context of the site, and the role of a library building and its presence in this domain.
